Locations with a Merse Wellness Spa
Merse Wellness Spa offers a premium wellness + recovery experience designed to restore both body and mind.
Bathhouse facilities feature traditional saunas, warm magnesium spas, cold plunge pools, and monsoon showers—perfect for post-workout rejuvenation.
Select Fitness Cartel Clubs have a Merse Wellness Spa next door, where any Fitness Cartel member can access the Bathhouse as an add-on to their membership or by purchasing a casual bathhouse session. Plus, all Fitness Cartel members receive 20% off Merse services, no matter where they train.

Our Wellness + Recovery Centres are located inside select Fitness Cartel clubs and offer members the ultimate in-gym wellness experience.
Featuring facilities like saunas, spas, and cold plunge pools, these spaces are purpose-built for post-workout recovery.
Access to the Wellness + Recovery Centre is available as a separate add-on to your membership as a Fitness Cartel member at the locations below, giving you the flexibility to enhance your training with premium Wellness + Recovery whenever you need it.

Access to sauna, cold plunge, spa or infrared heat depending on your club—see the list above to check what’s available at your location.
Do I need to pay more?
At Carrara and Mackay, the Recovery Centre is available as a membership add-on. At Virginia, Holmview and Osborne Park, Bathhouse access is included as part of your membership. All other sauna facilities are included with standard memberships at those clubs.
Can I use recovery facilities anytime?
Infrared saunas are available 24/7 at selected clubs. Hot rock saunas can be accessed during staffed hours. Merse Wellness Spa hours may differ by location—please check directly with your nearest Merse.
How do I add the Recovery Centre to my membership?
You can enquire about adding Recovery Centre access at Carrara or Mackay via the form on this page, or speak to our team at reception when visiting the club.
What do I need to bring to use the facilities?
Please bring a towel and appropriate swimwear for spa and plunge facilities. For hygiene reasons, towels are required in all saunas. Some clubs may have towels available for hire or purchase at reception.
